We are edging ever closer to the transfer deadline and Arsenal have yet to add to their squad this month.
A number of players have been heavily linked with a move to N7 but we are still waiting for the first arrival to come through the door.
So where do Arsenal stand with only 12 days left in the transfer window?
What's happened so far
Tipped to bring in players this month following the injuries to Holding and Welbeck, Unai Emery revealed at the start of January that he would only be able to sign players on loan as he has no cash to spend, while the uncertainty over head of recruitment Sven Mislintat's future at the club has not helped either.
Speaking at his press conference ahead of Saturday's game against Chelsea, the Spaniard provided an update with the clock now ticking down to the end of the window.
"This transfer window is not easy to take players that can help us with better performances than the players we have now," he said.
"The club is working and I spoke with Sven, with Raul about different possibilities with players.
"They are working but it is not easy to take players that can help us with big performances now. I think it is more one transfer for something special you need that can help us.
"We are looking, the club is working with the possibility to loan players and if we can take for helping us in a different position on the team, then maybe we can."
