Former Manchester United star likely to seal transfer in 'SHOCK' Old Trafford return -

Manchester United could be in with a strong chance of re-signing star man Memphis Depay after only selling him to Lyon a couple of years ago.

The Netherlands international flopped in his first spell in the Premier League, but it’s common knowledge that the Red Devils have a buy-back clause option with the player.

And now, Arsenal legend Robert Pires has sent something of an intriguing message to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – Depay wants another go at United.

Pires told Bwin: ” I think Depay wants to come back to the Premier League and he feels he has unfinished business in England.

“It didn’t work out for him at Manchester United and Depay is a very proud player. He perhaps feels he wasn’t given a chance to perform and earn the right to stay longer considering he was so young and showed glimpses of undoubted potential.

“Depay might want to return to Manchester United or he might be motivated to prove them wrong by performing for one of their rivals in the Premier League.”

Manchester United offered golden opportunity to beat league rivals to major transfer in tempting swap deal

Manchester United could reportedly get the chance to seal the transfer of Barcelona misfit Philippe Coutinho in a swap deal involving Paul Pogba.

This latest piece of Coutinho transfer speculation comes from Spanish outlet Don Balon, who claim Barca are eager to go all out to beat Real Madrid to the signing of Pogba.

Despite showing his best form yet in a Man Utd shirt this season, the France international’s future at the club is in some doubt again as Marca claim his agent has been looking to get him a move away from Old Trafford and that he’s decided he wants to join Real Madrid.

Don Balon claim, however, that Barcelona believe they could also be in the running and could try a tempting swap deal involving Coutinho, who has also been the subject of transfer speculation lately.

The Independent have linked United with the Brazil international, who could be an ideal signing to replace Chilean flop Alexis Sanchez.

There seems to be a large number of ways these deals could go, but United could well be tempted to cash in on Pogba now after an inconsistent career in the Premier League.

And while Coutinho would be a gamble after his struggles at the Nou Camp, he was one of the best players in the country during his time in England with Liverpool.

This would be a blow for Chelsea, however, who will struggle to find anyone as ideally suited to playing that Hazard role in their team as they sweat over the Belgian’s future.

Zinedine Zidane is set to make 'one major' sacrifice to complete Hazard transfer from Chelsea

Zinedine Zidane is reportedly ready to sacrifice the development of two top Real Madrid youngsters in Marco Asensio and Vinicius Junior as he lines up the summer transfer of Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

The Belgium international has long been linked with the Spanish giants as he’s allowed his contract to run down to just over its final year, and Zidane’s return to the Bernabeu will surely only help their cause.

The latest from Diario Gol just shows how eager Zidane is to work with Hazard, as the report states he’s prepared to make the Blues forward a priority over giving more valuable minutes to Asensio or Vinicius.

This seems a risky strategy from Los Blancos, who have a history of favouring big names over developing youth, with Asensio and Vinicius certainly both world class players in the making.

However, it may well be that both will end up fulfilling their potential elsewhere if Hazard joins, with another previous Diario Gol report stating the Brazilian starlet would likely leave on loan were the 28-year-old to come in and threaten his place.

Asensio, meanwhile, has been linked with both Manchester United and Liverpool in a recent report from Don Balon.

This could come back to haunt Real, though they’ll also argue they need ready-made world class players like Hazard now after failing to replace Cristiano Ronaldo since he joined Juventus last summer.

Manchester United is set to FINALLY complete priority transfer for just £85m

Manchester United and Manchester City are both being linked with an interest in the transfer of Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.

The Slovakia international looks one of Europe’s top centre-backs at the moment, and has long been linked with a move to a bigger club.

And according to Calciomercato, the Manchester giants can sign Skriniar this summer if they meet Inter’s asking price of £85million.

In this market that doesn’t look like a bad price, and one that should be perfectly affordable for clubs like United and City.

By comparison, there’s talk of Kalidou Koulibaly moving for around £130m this summer, or Raphael Varane for around £100m.

Skriniar could easily end up costing more in the near future, so United and City should definitely try their luck with a bid this summer.

The Red Devils have been tracking the 24-year-old for some time now and urgently need a new world class centre-back.

Breaking!!! Chelsea superstar agrees bumper €16.5m a season deal with European giants

According to reports, Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has agreed a bumper £270k-a-week, five-year deal with Real Madrid. Is Hazard finally set to join Los Blancos?

According to Spanish outlet Sport via OK Diario, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has wasted no time preparing for Los Blancos’ future and he’s already been in contact with Hazard.

It’s understood that Hazard has agreed a move to the Spanish giants this summer and Zidane’s return is thought to be a key factor behind the Belgian ace’s decision.

The stumbling block that is preventing a deal from being agreed is Chelsea’s valuation of Hazard. The Blues are holding out for a whopping €114m (£98m) for the star.

The clock is ticking for Chelsea to either cash in on the star, Hazard’s contract with the Blues expires at the end of next season and the west London club shouldn’t risk losing the ace on a free and considering that it’s no secret that he has a desire to play for Madrid – now is the time for Chelsea to come to an agreement with Madrid.

Chelsea’s two-window transfer ban could also prevent a deal from being agreed, the Blues can’t afford to lose the star on a free but their is also not much sense in them selling the star, if they aren’t allowed to sign a replacement.

This will no doubt be one of the biggest transfer sagas of the summer.

Talks held: Man Utd star is set to quit Old Trafford in favour of joining Euro rivals

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to prise Ander Herrera away from Man Utd this summer with his current contract set to expire.

The Spaniard has re-established himself as a key figure at Old Trafford under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as he has played a big role in the resurgence seen in recent months.

However, despite making 25 appearances so far this season, the 29-year-old’s future in Manchester has been clouded with doubt too as his current contract will come to an end this summer.

According to The Sun, PSG have put a three-year offer on the table worth £150,000-a-week, and it’s suggested that they could now successfully convince him to move to the French capital instead of committing his long-term future to the Red Devils.

Given there is no official confirmation of such a move as of yet, it remains to be seen if that is indeed the choice that Herrera opts to make, but it would certainly come as a shock having worked his way back up the pecking order in recent months to suggest that he has a key role to play for United moving forward.

PSG will undoubtedly be in the market for a new midfielder this summer as they have a free transfer exit on their hands in Adrien Rabiot, with the Frenchman’s current deal set to expire too.

In turn, Thomas Tuchel will want to bolster that department as they look to not only clean up domestically again but also compete in Europe, and Herrera’s experience at the highest level could ultimately be a crucial factor in helping the reigning Ligue 1 champions make progress.

United will surely be desperate to avoid losing him though, and so it remains to be seen if the two parties sit down between now and the summer to reach a new agreement to keep him at Old Trafford.

Going or staying? Chelsea star reveals decision he has taken on his future at the club

Chelsea star, Willian has revealed that he wants to sign a new contract with the club but admitted that he doesn’t know if the club intend to offer him a new deal.

The 30-year-old will have just a year remaining on his current deal at the end of the season.

Chelsea have a policy of only offering one-year contracts to players in their 30’s.

But Willian admits he is keen on staying at Stamford Bridge and says he feels “comfortable” at the club.

“I have one year left, but of course I want to play for this club.

“I don’t know if they want me, but of course I want to continue here.

“This club is very special to me. I won titles here, I have the affection from the fans and from the people that work in the club.

“I feel comfortable to stay. I am happy when I play well and score goals. I can give a different light,” Willian told the Evening Standard.

Should young students study overseas early in their academic careers?

It has been said that fortune favours the bold, but when it comes to studying overseas, should young students be given the push to do so?

While it has become increasingly common for university students to study in a foreign country, some parents may be eager to send their children abroad early in their academic careers, during secondary or high school, for example, for various reasons.

This could be to give them a better education than what is currently offered in their home country, to broaden their worldview, give them a better chance of success and to enjoy the opportunities presented by their host country, among other things.

Meanwhile, some other perceived benefits of studying abroad at a younger age include helping students to develop their cultural awareness, pick up a new language, widen their worldview, learn to become adaptable to change and develop their resilience in the process.

However, not all children adapt to their surroundings to reap in the benefits of studying abroad quite so seamlessly. There are other considerations to think about, such as whether your child is sent abroad on his or her own, or with their family, which can affect how well they cope.

University of Melbourne transitions into 'smart' campus

The University of Melbourne (UoM) has implemented a smart campus program, using data from Internet of Things (IoT) sensors with the goal of improving student experience and researcher outcomes.

Speaking at the Dell Boomi World Tour in Sydney on Tuesday, UoM solution architect Ganesh Krishnan said that in order to provide better learning opportunities, it was important to better use the data it had from other parts of the organisation to generate better use cases.

"We wanted to provide students with rich campus-based learning opportunities ... we need to take advantage of the various technologies that are being deployed across our campuses to provide better learning outcomes for the students and also open new research avenues," he said.

The challenge for UoM was creating a way for its systems and data collection points to talk to each other.

Eden Hazard makes 'shocking' statement after Chelsea rejects Real Madrid offer

The Belgian has been linked with a move to Los Blancos this summer and is known to be admired by Zinedine Zidane who has returned to the Bernabeu as manager.

Hazard has stalled on contract negotiations at Stamford Bridge with many expecting him to leave at the end of the campaign.

The Daily Record claim Chelsea have rejected an initial offer for their talisman.

But Hazard has taken it as a good sign as he believes Real will go all out to sign him this summer.

The winger has been in good form for Chelsea this season, netting 16 goals and providing 11 assists.

The Blues are aware they may have to cash-in on Hazard as he is out of contract in the summer of 2020.

And if he doesn’t sign a new deal he could negotiate to leave on a free abroad in January.

Chelsea are said to believe they can still secure a fee of around €100million for Hazard, despite his contract running down.

The reports also claim Real’s pursuit of the 28-year-old is in addition to them trying to sign Neymar this summer in a blockbuster deal.

Zidane has given his approval of both deals after returning the to the club.

Hazard spoke about joining Real Madrid in January, saying: “Why not? You know it very well. You’re asking the question, but you know what the answer will be so you don’t have to ask it.

“I’ve won everything in England, apart from the Community Shield, but that doesn’t mean I’m leaving.

ACC/AHA Issues Guidelines for Heart Health

Officials with the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the American Heart Association (AHA) issued key recommendations in the 2019 Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease at its 68th Annual Scientific Session in New Orleans, Louisiana that emphasize adopting a heart healthy diet, engaging in exercise, avoiding tobacco, using aspirin sparingly, and managing known risk factors are among the recommendations.

The guideline is meant to provide strategies that can be used and tailored for those without a history of cardiovascular disease to stay heart healthy. It also emphasizes the need to identify and address personal or social barriers for doing so, such as income and education levels; cost concerns, lack of health insurance, access to healthy foods or safe places to exercise, and life stressors.

“The most important way to prevent cardiovascular disease, whether it’s a build-up of plaque in the arteries, heart attack, stroke, heart failure or issues with how the heart contracts and pumps blood to the rest of the body, is by adopting heart healthy habits and to do so over one’s lifetime,” Roger S. Blumenthal, MD, co-chair of the 2019 ACC/AHA Guideline on the Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease, expained in a prepared statement about the recommendations. “More than 80% of all cardiovascular events are preventable through lifestyle changes, yet we often fall short in terms of implementing these strategies and controlling other risk factors.”

According to the guidelines, the first step to prevent cardiovascular disease is to assess one’s risk through communication with a practitioner or care team. The document synthesizes data and proven interventions to improve diet, exercise and other factors, and also discusses the challenges that may interfere with individuals’ ability to incorporate better lifestyle habits.

Some of the key lifestyle recommendations include:
Eating heart healthier to include more fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, whole grains, and fish, and limiting salt, saturated fats, fried foods, processed meat, and sweetened beverages.
Engaging in regular exercise for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercises such as brisk walking, swimming, dancing, or cycling each week. For people who are inactive, some activity is better than none and small, 10-minute bursts of activity throughout the day can add up for those with hectic schedules.
Aiming for and keeping a healthy weight for people who are overweight or obese, losing just 5% to 10% of their body weight (that would be 10-20 pounds for someone who weighs 200 pounds) can markedly cut their risk of heart disease, stroke and other health issues.
Avoiding tobacco by not smoking, vaping or breathing in smoke – 1 in 3 deaths from heart disease is attributable to smoking or exposure to secondhand smoke, so every effort to try to quit through counseling and/or approved cessation medications should be supported and tailored to each individual.
Limited aspirin use for healthy people. The guidelines recommend that aspirin should only rarely be used to help prevent heart attacks and stroke without known cardiovascular disease. Recent research suggests that the chance of bleeding, given the blood-thinning effect of aspirin, may be too high and the evidence of benefit—the number of heart attacks or strokes that are actually prevented—is not sufficient enough to make a daily aspirin worth taking for most adults in this setting.

For people with type 2 diabetes, which is one of the strongest risk factors for cardiovascular disease, there are new data that 2 classes of diabetes medications, which work to lower blood sugar levels, can also cut the risk of heart attack, stroke and related deaths.

The 2019 ACC/AHA Guideline on the Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease will simultaneously publish in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association’s journal Circulation.

Key role of employability in choice of foreign university

International students from several Asian countries, including India and China, who are looking to choose a university abroad have become more focused on employment prospects in choosing a subject, university and the country of study abroad.

According to a new global comparison report on international student employment outcomes and international student satisfaction published by Australian-based student-university-alumni network platform Cturtle, which also produces international student satisfaction data and the International Alumni Job Network, students from eight Asian countries are prioritising career issues in choosing a university abroad.

“We are starting to see interesting trends that show how important employability is when it comes to recommending the country or recommending the university abroad to future students,” says Shane Dillon, co-founder and group CEO of Cturtle. Sea turtle is the nickname used in China for international students who return home after graduation.

“We get a lot of enquiries asking for international study advice based on employment. We hadn’t seen it before,” Dillon says.

More than 81% of some 10,000 students surveyed from China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam said they wanted to study abroad to improve career opportunities, or to pursue a specific career, according to Cturtle’s International Student Employment Outcomes and Satisfaction Report 2019.

“With the future of work so uncertain, a lot of students are picking a course which they think will give them a greater advantage once they enter the competitive employment stage,” notes Dillon.

“Five of the top 10 reasons that students and alumni recommend their university to others are related to employability and seven of the top 10 reasons for recommending the country are related to employability,” he says, adding that the job market “is now so competitive and there are more and more international students going through that system so that their uniqueness and competitive edge is dulling. Employability then becomes a really critical issue.”

Employability has also become important because of the large amounts invested in education abroad by international students.

Poor university response

However, “universities do not really respond to this,” Dillon says. Only four or five out of 10 international students were satisfied with their university’s career support, according to the survey findings, with lower satisfaction in Australia and the United Kingdom compared to the United States and Europe.

Universities in countries like the US, Australia and Canada are failing to help international students improve their employment prospects, concentrating mainly on employability for their local students rather than for international students, he adds.

“I see a huge gap. Our research has shown that four in five international students did not get access to internships” in the host country, Dillon says. In countries like the UK and Australia only 17% of international students had access to internship offerings. In Europe it was 37% of international students.

Students from Singapore, Hong Kong, India and Malaysia were most likely to participate in internship programmes as part of their studies abroad, with 83% of Singaporeans and 71% of Indians saying they had done so – an indication of the importance students place on such internships if offered.

It’s ON: Manchester United ‘in pole position to beat City & Juve to £63m transfer’

Manchester United are reportedly the favourites to win the race for the Tanguy Ndombele transfer against the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham and Juventus.

The Red Devils are being talked up as suitors for the £63million-rated Lyon midfield powerhouse, who has had a superb season in Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

Unsurprisingly, a host of top clubs are interested in the France international this summer, but Lyon’s demands mean Juventus and Spurs in particular could be priced out of a move.

That leaves United and City to scrap it out for Ndombele, but a player of his type is arguably a more pressing need for Man Utd right now.

Yesterday’s defeat to Wolves exposed the likes of Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera, with Ndombele surely set to be an upgrade on the pair.

The 22-year-old will also know Paul Pogba well from the French national team, and the pair seem like a great potential fit in the middle of the park.

It’s also previously been claimed that United have already made contact with Ndombele’s agent over a transfer.

Florentino Perez Set to land Manchester United duo in potential swap transfer with real madrid star

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is reportedly a fan of Manchester United duo Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford.

And according to Diario Gol, the Spanish giants’ chief could try to land one of those two this summer in a swap deal with Man Utd involving Gareth Bale.

The report explains that the Wales international remains a target for United, though the Premier League giants are not currently coming up with an offer that tempts Madrid.

Los Blancos could do business, however, if a player moves the other way in the deal, and Diario Gol claim Perez’s preference would be for Pogba or Rashford.

It certainly seems like being a busy summer of change at the Bernabeu, with Zinedine Zidane’s return as manager announced on Monday.

The French tactician seems likely to be overseeing a major overhaul in terms of personnel, with the Independent claiming he’s been offered big money to spend while the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are among the club’s targets.

That piece also suggests Bale is likely to leave, so it could well be that one of Pogba or Rashford will be joining the Zidane revolution if a deal can be struck.

Chelsea resigned to losing Eden Hazard and gives condition for Real Madrid to complete transfer

Chelsea are reportedly planning for life without Eden Hazard as they now expect there’s not much they can do to prevent the Belgian sealing a transfer to Real Madrid.

The Blues are in a difficult situation as Hazard will be in the final year of his contract next season, which severely weakens their negotiating position.

The 28-year-old would be a fine signing for Real Madrid as they are yet to truly replace Cristiano Ronaldo, and he would likely cost them around £100million as Chelsea set that as their asking price, according to the Telegraph.

The Telegraph have also claimed Madrid have already been in touch about a potential move for Hazard as speculation hots up ahead of what is likely to be a busy summer of rebuilding at the Bernabeu.

Zinedine Zidane has just returned as manager at Real and will surely need to make plenty of changes to this squad after their major loss of form this term.

Hazard’s arrival would certainly be a boost for Los Blancos, and it now looks increasingly likely that this long-awaited transfer will finally happen.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes 'Huge' Man Utd decision for the match against Arsenal

Manchester United are looking to take their winning streak away from home under Ole Gunner Solskjaer to 10 games this afternoon.

Standing in their way are Arsenal, who they beat in the middle stages of that run 3-1 at the Emirates in the FA Cup fourth round.

The Old Trafford club are coming off the back of a memorable Champions League over Paris Saint-Germain in midweek, which was preceded by a similarly dramatic 3-2 league victory over Southampton.

In the pre-match press conference, Solskjaer hinted that Anthony Martial, Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic could all feature, while Jesse Lingard returned to training on Friday.

Eric Bailly is also OK after suffering a knock in Paris, but no updates were offered on Alexis Sanchez or Juan Mata, while Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian and Phil Jones all remain sidelined.

Solskjaer has been playing with a two-pronged attack the last two games, starting with a 4-3-1-2 formation.

But Diogo Dalot has been introduced on the wing in both matches, instantly having an impact.

He replaced the injured Sanchez against Southampton and caused havoc down the right with his tricky stepovers and vicious crossing, and is expected to come in for the Chilean in the starting XI this week.

While it was a 4-3-1-2 formation that worked to such effect against Arsenal in January, Solskjaer may well switch to his typical 4-3-3 formation, with Dalot on the right wing.

Do not be surprised if Matic returns to the side, either. The Serbian’s generalship has been amply made up for by Scott McTominay, but the Scotsman could find himself pushed further forward today as Solskjaer will be wary to rush Herrera back into the team.

Manchester United predicted line up: De Gea; Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw; McTominay, Matic, Pogba; Dalot, Lukaku, Rashford

Hazard breaking! Chelsea to go beyond £400,000-a-week and get £100m superstar signed up

Chelsea are hopeful they can keep hold of star man Eden Hazard during the summer transfer window, amid speculation that Real Madrid are keen on a transfer deal.

Hazard is in the best form of his career this season and has stepped up his game for Maurizio Sarri’s side in their quest to get back into the top four and play Champions League football next season, which is something owner Roman Abramovic wanted when he hired the Italian last summer.

However, there has been a lot of speculation in the media that Hazard will be looking to leave at the end of the season and get his dream move to La Liga with Madrid, with all indications suggesting that the Belgian has made up his mind already to leave when the Spaniards make an offer.

But with the club facing a big transfer ban after the summer transfer window, LE10Sport have claimed that Chelsea are hopeful that Hazard will sign a new contract at the club and stay beyond the summer, with reports they are prepared to make him one of the highest paid players in the Premier League.

Hazard has already failed to sign the £350,000-a-week contract offer that Chelsea have placed on the table, but with the Blues desperate to get their star man signed up, reports indicate that they may be willing to go well above the £400,000-a-week mark to end all speculation.

Here is what we think on the future of Hazard.

A lot has been said over the past few months about his future as it has mainly dominated the headlines for Chelsea, and even though he has made up his mind about what he would like to do in the summer, no one knows what he has planned in the coming weeks.

But Madrid do have other transfer targets and if they seal a deal for Neymar of Kylian Mbappe, then Hazard will have no choice but to stay and sign a new contract. He is the clubs main man and they should do all they can to get his signature signed, especially with the transfer ban looming

Maurizio Sarri risks anger from Chelsea fans: as he makes shocking decision about star man

CHELSEA boss Maurizio Sarri is risking frustrating the club’s supporters - insisting young forward Callum Hudson-Odoi is not ready “to be at the top” for at least another four years.

The 18-year-old made his first-team debut for the club under Antonio Conte 14 months ago but is still waiting for his first Premier League start.

The promising Chelsea academy graduate’s only starts this season have come in the Europa League and FA Cup, much to the frustration of Stamford Bridge.

After Chelsea fans chanted his name last night, the teenager came off the bench to score the third goal in a 3-0 Europa League last 16 first-leg win over Dynamo Kiev.

Now Hudson-Odoi has four goals and three assists despite his limited minutes this term, having amassed 800 minutes of playing time across all competitions even with his Community Shield appearance included.

Epl: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's contract terminated -

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that his contract with Molde was terminated so that he could sign for Manchester United until June.

There was initial talk of Solskjaer having been loaned to United and that he would return at the end of the season.

But a story about him signing a new three-year deal with Molde has been removed from the club’s website.

Solskjaer has now explained that it was impossible to have a dual contract in place.

“I am here to do my job. I am not here to get excited.

“With the contract issue – you cannot have two contracts when you are a manager. That contract [with Molde] was terminated and I am contracted to United until the end of June,” he told Sky Sports.

Masterclass incoming!!! As £68m star is set to complete Manchester United transfer in summer

Manchester United look to be a step closer to clinching their first transfer of the summer with Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale.

In a big development, Bale has supposedly agreed personal terms with the Premier League giants and possibly also has a house in mind for his move, according to Diario Gol.

The Wales international has not had the best time at the Bernabeu in recent times, becoming less of a regular last season and barely making much of an impact this term despite an opportunity to become more of a focal point following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure.

Don Balon recently linked Bale with United as well as they talked up a potential £68million move, and this latest update suggests things are moving along.

While the former Tottenham man may be past his best to an extent, it’s easy to see why Man Utd could be keen on him this summer.

The Red Devils need an upgrade on the struggling Alexis Sanchez, and Bale seems an ideal fit for the team’s style of play, bringing pace, skill and a goal threat out wide.

Bale’s best form also came in his Premier League career with Spurs, so a return to England could end up being the best thing to revive the 29-year-old’s career.

Antonio Conte set for managerial return, update on financial impact for Chelsea revealed

Chelsea will reportedly still have to pay Antonio Conte’s wages for the remainder of his contract despite him being linked with a return to Juventus.

The Italian tactician left Stamford Bridge last summer after a tumultuous end to his tenure, despite the fact that he delivered a Premier League title and FA Cup in his two years in charge.

Compatriot Maurizio Sarri has since replaced him, while Conte remains out of work for the time being as he considers his options.

According to The Express, not only is it suggested that he could return for a second spell at Juventus, but also that Chelsea will have to pay him what he’s owed on his contract before he secures a return to the Bianconeri.

As noted by The Guardian in 2017, it was suggested that Conte signed a new deal which ran until 2019, and so it would appear as though he is seemingly going to continue to be paid until this summer, at which point he’s a free agent to go out and get a new job with Chelsea’s financial obligations over.

Time will tell if confirmation of that is publicly announced, but for now it remains to be seen if Massimiliano Allegri does leave Juventus at the end of the season to pave the way for Conte’s return.

The Turin giants are well on course for an eighth consecutive Serie A title, but with a deficit to overcome against Atletico Madrid, their frustrations and failures in the Champions League look set to continue despite the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo last summer.

With that in mind, perhaps a change on the bench will be needed to freshen things up, but it remains to be seen if the Juventus hierarchy decide that Conte’s the right man to come back at this stage.

Manchester United consider transfer swoop for £120m Romelu Lukaku replacement

Manchester United are reportedly considering a big-money transfer swoop for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala if Romelu Lukaku ends up leaving this summer.

The Belgium international is not having his most convincing season in the Premier League and it makes sense that the Red Devils might be keen to replace him.

Were Lukaku to leave, it could be that that would open the door for some big spending up front for United as the Sun link them with a potential £120million swoop for Dybala.

The Argentina international has shown his quality in Serie A down the years and could also do well in England if he fancies a new challenge.

Although not necessarily a direct replacement for Lukaku, Dybala could also be a useful signing to push flop Alexis Sanchez out of the side, allowing Marcus Rashford to establish himself as first-choice at centre-forward.

Either way, this would no doubt be an expensive move, but probably a worthwhile one for MUFC ahead of next season.

United will need to spend and make changes to this squad if they are to close the gap on Manchester City and become genuine title contenders once again.

How Man Utd could still MISS OUT on Champions League place even if they secure fourth spot

Man Utd’s resurgence under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since December has been impressive, but fourth place may not be enough for Champions League qualification.

Their league form has left them just two point adrift of the top four after 30 games, and so they have certainly added their name to the mix to qualify for the Champions League.

However, a rather bizarre set of circumstances could yet rob them of a seat at Europe’s top table next season even if they were to secure fourth place.

According to The Sun, should United finish fourth behind Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea, and Tottenham win the Champions League while Arsenal secure Europa League glory, that would leave the Red Devils missing out.

It really is a highly unlikely series of events and so there will likely be few panicking at Old Trafford over whether or not this will end up costing them a spot in Europe’s premier competition next season.

Nevertheless, for as long as it remains a possibility, there will surely be a sense of anxiousness as Man Utd will be desperate to see their improved form count for something with a crucial period coming up in their campaign.
