Maurizio Sarri risks anger from Chelsea fans: as he makes shocking decision about star man

CHELSEA boss Maurizio Sarri is risking frustrating the club’s supporters - insisting young forward Callum Hudson-Odoi is not ready “to be at the top” for at least another four years.

The 18-year-old made his first-team debut for the club under Antonio Conte 14 months ago but is still waiting for his first Premier League start.

The promising Chelsea academy graduate’s only starts this season have come in the Europa League and FA Cup, much to the frustration of Stamford Bridge.

After Chelsea fans chanted his name last night, the teenager came off the bench to score the third goal in a 3-0 Europa League last 16 first-leg win over Dynamo Kiev.

Now Hudson-Odoi has four goals and three assists despite his limited minutes this term, having amassed 800 minutes of playing time across all competitions even with his Community Shield appearance included.
